Short version: the game itself collects nothing. The website uses a few standard tools to understand how people find it.
Knew It! runs entirely on your device. Player names, settings and scores are stored in your browser's local storage on that device and never sent anywhere. There is no account, no server and no tracking inside the game.
knewitgame.com may use analytics and advertising measurement tools (such as the Meta Pixel) to count visits, see which pages people use, and measure whether our ads work. These tools may set cookies and collect your IP address, browser information and pages viewed. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still works.
Payments are handled by our payment partner, which collects the data needed to process your order (name, email, payment details, country) under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver the file and provide support. We do not see or store your card number.
We email you your purchase and, at most, occasional updates about the game. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use by emailing info@knewitgame.com. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
The game is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
